Jesus commissioned his followers to proclaim the news about God’s Kingdom and make disciples in diverse settings around the world. This calling led the Apostle Paul to innovate ways of announcing the news which made sense to his target audience. I also am interested in learning to pastor in such a way that will win my very skeptical generation.

Before moving into the summer season of my life and ministry, I aspire to reconstruct an historically orthodox understanding of Jesus’ resurrection, Heaven, and God’s the mission for the Church. By training under some of the world’s leading Bible scholars including world authority on the Apostle Paul, N. T. Wright, I intend to become an expert on the story of Jesus based on its original literary, theological, and historical terms.

After our season at Oxford, it is Sarah and my dream to lead a church community towards a clear vision of what Jesus accomplished in his resurrection; what it means for our ultimate future; and how it should shape our mission as the Body of Christ.
