Year Three-of-Three!

Today officially starts our THIRD & FINAL year in Oxford!

YEAR ONE, we covered everything from the New Testament and Old Testament to Church History, Christian Doctrine, Philosophy, and beyond. Woah.

YEAR TWO was the shift to ministry applications. My main focus has been Jesus’ bodily resurrection from the dead as a concrete event that disrupts our modern grasp of reality and prompts a sharp “eschatological” hope that changes everything.

YEAR THREE is the hefty dissertation. I’ll be developing my work on proclaiming the Resurrection of the Dead: why it means heaven on earth and how it ultimately points to the kind of eternal life that’s now and to come.

OUR SUPPORTERS via Ottesons.com have taken us $89,710 of the way on this very unusual quest for your basic evangelical pastor types. Now it’s time for the finish. YEAR THREE OF THREE TO GRADUATION. Let’s go!!!

PS: Our boy Emmaus’ continues to heal from his long-anticipated BPES surgery. We are grateful for all who continue encouraging us through this season—pictures in a couple weeks.
